Faith- A Scripture For The Hour

Good morning, It has been over two weeks since my first entry. I know that’s bad. But I have thought about this blog almost every other day since. I have a serious procrastination issue that I really need to work on. But today I decided to go ahead and log in and write.

I have a journal that was given to me by a former coworker that I absolutely love! Each page has a scripture on it. The page that I’m writing on today has the scripture:

I trust in Your unfailing love. I will rejoice because You have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because He has been so good to me. Psalm 13:5-6.

When I read this scripture it really spoke to me, because despite myself and all the flaws I have God no matter what loves me and His love for me is UNFAILING!! Do we love anyone like that…..NO, why, because we are human and far from perfect. But God is perfect in all his ways and is capable of loving us and rescuing us. All we have to do is accept Him and follow his ways. Singing His praises is what I want to do and what we all should do.

Until next time!

Breaking The Box

So today I have decided to go ahead and take that dreaded scary leap of faith. That leap for me is beginning this blog.  I have always wanted to start a blog but because of fear, not being grammatically correct and thoughts of not having anything interesting to say I kept putting it on the back burner. Well today I’m moving forward. I do have to apologize in advance for any mistakes made in grammar and or spelling. But I know the more I do it the better I will get. Just bear with me in the beginning.

The title of my first post is “Breaking Your Box”. I have been in this continual box of failure, disappointment, and just overall boredom. Today, no longer will I continue in the same manner.

I want to experience life. Life as a true dedicated Christian. There are may things that a believer can do that are fun without compromising and I plan to enjoy doing those things. In the process I will grow in God and I will come to know who I’am in Christ.

I invite you all to take this journey with me. The more the merrier! So “nothing to it, but to just do it” or along those lines.

Now I leave you all to go in search of material to blog. My second step to breaking my box.
